Permanent part-time & casual on-call positions available (Must be available to work between the hours of 7am-9am and 3pm10.30pm. Also, weekend work on a roster-based system).

This role offers you an exciting opportunity to use and develop your support skills within the Waitaki community. Our work is undertaken alongside disabled people, their family/whanau, and supports the individual’s needs in a person directed, creative way.

To be appointed the successful candidate will:

  • Have a strong commitment to providing support in ways, at the times and places agreed with the person they are working with.

  • Work well with people and have a recognition that every day may be different

  • Be a person that looks for opportunities to develop and maintain community connections and networks with a focus on supporting the community towards greater inclusion for all people

  • Have experience working with disabled people would be a distinct advantage.
