ELECT MINING LIMITED

A full time position has become available in our company. We are currently looking for an experienced excavator operator OR a trainee operator who has an interest in building a career in the mining industry at one of our alluvial gold mines ten minutes north of Hokitika.

If you:

• have reliable transport to work


• have experience operating 30-50 ton excavators or have an interest in machinery and mining, are eager to learn and have an excellent attitude


• are honest and reliable


• can pass an alcohol and drug test


• have excellent problem solving skills with a good sense of initiative


• have an excellent work ethic


• can work in a team environment with a good sense of humour


• want to work for a company with a great team environment, operating a modern fleet

Hours of work are 6am-5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 6am-4pm Fridays. Immediate start available. Minimum starting pay rate of $27 an hour for a trainee and $32+ an hour for experienced operators.
