Specialising in managing boutique individually branded Queenstown luxury apartment and villa complexes, Staysouth.com is looking for someone to work weekends covering Reservations, Guest Services and General Administration.

This is a fixed term part or full-time position – employment will be for 1 year with the possibility of an extension for a second year. Initially and while training; the successful applicant will work Monday-Friday inclusive but once training is complete, days worked will be Thurs-Tues inclusive i.e. must be available to work
weekends.

All applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Reside in Queenstown and must have own accommodation as it is not included
• If not a permanent NZ resident or citizen, you must have a minimum 6 months’ remaining on your current and valid work visa (from start date with Staysouth.com)
• Hold a current and valid NZ Driver’s Licence (motorcar) without restrictions and infringements
• Able and willing to work Fridays to Tuesdays inclusive upon completion of training

We are looking for someone who:
• Is motivated and mature – can work on their own, but enjoys working in a team
• Is fluent in English and an excellent communicator – verbal and written
• Is able to write prose - a skilled wordsmith who loves “sales”
• Has good technical experience and computer skills with a willingness/able to learn new systems
• Is happy to work weekends i.e. Friday to Tuesday inclusive, once fully trained
• Has good time management skills and able to multi-task and simultaneously undertake different roles and projects and works well under pressure
• Has knowledge of Queenstown’s visitor accommodation and tourism and has previous experience in reservations, guest services and administration.
