Allied Press is a locally owned media company, proudly publishing the Otago Daily Times, Timaru Courier, Central Rural Life, and a host of other publications and products over the South Island.

We have a position available for a Sales Admin/Consultant to join our team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). Based in Timaru this is a busy role selling advertising for the Timaru Courier, Central Rural Life, Otago Daily Times, and other targeted publications as well as providing the team with high quality, responsive administrative support.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong time-management and organisational skills

  • A highly motivated and positive attitude

  • Exceptional communications skills, especially on the telephone

  • The ability to engage with clients from a multitude of backgrounds

  • A sense of humour, strong teamwork ethic and have the ability to work to deadlines

  • A full driver’s licence is essential.

This is a busy and varied role, working in a close-knit team that are passionate about our products.

This position is part-time, hours are negotiable for the right person.
