General Maintenance Engineer

Full time, Permanent. Accommodation available

Harris Meats (Cheviot) LTD is a family owned fully integrated meat processing plant, slaughtering and boning beef, pigs, sheep & goats. The company also produces a range of value-added products, case ready meat, small goods, bacon & pet food.

A position has come available for a General Maintenance Engineer.

We are looking for someone with the following skills:

• Experience working with processing and packaging machines.


• Knowledge of food processing.


• Ability to plan & liaise with subcontractors.


• Plant engineering experience, welding, plumbing, electrical skills etc.


• Experience working within a small organisation.

We are looking to hear from motivated individuals who have the technical knowledge and practical ability to perform this role.
