The Community Networking Trust is seeking applications for two Navigators to work in the Gore District as part of the Hokonui Huanui project.

Learning to Earning Navigator

40 hours per week (may be negotiable)
To provide 1:1 support for NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training) youth and at risk 16-24 year olds to ensure they have the skills and wellbeing necessary to successfully engage in education, training or employment.

Family/Whanau Navigator

40 hours per week (may be negotiable)
To provide 1:1 support for vulnerable Families/Whanau (with
children aged 0-24).

The ideal candidates will have the following skills:

  • Ideally have a relevant quali?cation, be working towards a
    quali?cation or demonstrate equivalent experience.

  • Proven ability to delivery strength based services to children, young people and/or their family/whanau.

  • Local knowledge and proven ability to work across
    government and community sectors including iwi/hapu,
    education, health, social and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Excellent administration and report writing skills.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Te Tiriti O Waitangi

  • Full Drivers Licence

  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand
